No, really. I’m serious. Please say it nicely the 1st time.

You know, maybe I was wrong? Maybe I misunderstood?! Maybe you misunderstood me? Maybe you have come to offer me an unconsidered perspective that will open my mind?

Please, allow me the opportunity to apologize, clarify, and/or LEARN from you. That’s only fighting fair.

I promise that I don’t say things just to piss people off. I say them for a REASON. And I will be happy to discuss said reason(s) with you in a civil, respectful manner.

It’s easy to be a critic.

It takes more discipline to practice patience, understanding, compassion, and respect.

So, please, say it nicely the 1st time. That’s really all that I ask. And I don’t think it’s too much.
